What is Granite Weave?
A rare, dense khadi weave few makers still spin; heavy, deliberate, and built to last generations. Every yard carries the character of old-world hand-spinning: substantial, textured, and quietly premium. It softens and settles into its own over years, the way only real heirloom cloth does.
Best for: those who want a shirt with real weight and history; considered, everyday wear that lasts.
Easy exchanges, no questions asked.
Prepared in small artisanal batches. Not accepting COD orders due to Limited monthly stock.
Handwashed to ensure 0% shrinkage.

Each shirt is woven by artisans from KVIC-certified Khadi units in Gujarat, sustaining livelihoods and preserving India’s century-old handcraft traditions. Soft to the touch, breathable, and naturally textured, this piece embodies what true Khadi stands for — purity, purpose, and permanence.

The office shirt I didn't know I needed
Work in a semi-formal environment where we're expected to wear collared shirts. Most of what I owned was either too stiff or synthetic. This khadi full sleeve hits a sweet spot, formal enough to pass without looking like you tried too hard. The cuffs are well finished and the collar doesn't flop. I've worn it four times to the office already, two of those days in AC for 8 hours and two with some time outdoors. Handles both well. No colour bleed in the first wash either, which was my biggest concern with unbleached fabric.
That sweet spot is exactly what we aim for Arjun! Great to hear the collar and cuffs are holding up. Thanks again :)

Good fabric cuff sizing needs attention
The khadi quality is genuinely good and I have no complaints about the chest and body fit for XL. However the cuffs are noticeably tight, I couldn't button the last button without it feeling restrictive. My wrists aren't unusually large. A tailor let them out slightly and now it's fine, but I shouldn't have needed to do that on a shirt at this price. The fabric itself is excellent and the shirt looks great. Just needs tightercheck on the cuff measurements. Hoping they fix this in future batches.
Thank you for the detailed feedback Manish, this is genuinely useful. We've flagged the cuff width for XL to our artisan team and it's being corrected in the next batch. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Khadi that actually looks premium
I've bought khadi from government stores before and it always felt slightly rough and shapeless. This is different. The cut is modern not boxy, has a slight taper which makes it look intentional rather than oversized. The fabric weight for the full sleeve is slightly heavier than the half sleeve version I tried at a friend's, which makes sense for colder months. Chennai winters aren't cold by any standard but I've been wearing this for evening outings and the weight feels right. Good craftsmanship overall.
Thank you Karthik! The modern taper in the cut is something we spent a lot of time on, really glad it's landing the way we hoped. thanks a lot!

3XL runs small check measurements before ordering
I usually wear 3XL in most Indian brands and ordered accordingly. The shirt is tight across the stomach for me — not unwearable but definitely not comfortable enough for a full day. The fabric quality is not in question, the khadi feels authentic and the finish is clean. But 3XL sizing seems to be cut for someone with a lean frame, not a typical 3XL build. Customer support responded promptly when I wrote to them and acknowledged this as feedback. Still I can't wear it as-is. Giving 3 stars because the product itself has promise but sizing needs to be corrected.
Rajan we sincerely apologies for this. You're right and we've taken this up directly with our sizing team. at this stage we are taking every feedback seriously and trying to improve our next batch

Warm earthy and exactly what khadi should be
Ordered this after seeing a friend wear the half sleeve version. The full sleeve is a noticeably different experience — slightly thicker, warmer, and the sleeves have a good drape when rolled up to the elbow which is how I wear it most of the time. Washed it twice, no issues. One thing to note is that it wrinkles more than the half sleeve — khadi tends to do that so keep an iron handy if wearing it to anything formal. Overall a solid shirt for the price and the brand clearly cares about what they're making.
Thank you Nikhil! The rolled-up sleeve is one of our favourite ways to wear it too. The wrinkling note is fair, khadi does need that iron. Appreciate the honest and thoughtful review.

Khadi feels great-love the cloth quality. One suggestion -can this not be offered in a 'regular' fit and not in 'slim fit' only ? I like to wear shirts that are a bit loose -despite buying a size larger (XL) , I felt the the fitting is tight around hips

The material and finish is excellent! However the button stitches are not firm enough. I found two loose buttons. Looks like that I will have to restitch the whole lot them again.
Hi Suvendra, we have noted your feedback and we will work on ensuring that buttons are stitched firmly going forward. thank you again for sharing your valuable feedback

I like the tailoring and the way the fabric feels on the skin. Not sure how it will age, but a good start.
